Microsoft 365 Fundamentals
Course description This course introduces students to Microsoft 365, an integrated cloud platform that delivers industry-leading productivity apps along with intelligent cloud services, and world-class security. Students will learn foundational level knowledge of cloud concepts, Microsoft 365 apps and services, security and compliance capabilities, and pricing and support options.
Students will be able to describe and discover the benefits of Microsoft 365 apps and services so that they can apply those learnings and recommend Microsoft 365 solutions that address common organizational IT challenges. Students will learn how Microsoft 365 solutions improve productivity, facilitate collaboration, and optimize communications.
Audience The Microsoft 365 Fundamentals course is designed for anyone looking to demonstrate foundational knowledge of the available options and benefits gained by implementing Microsoft 365 cloud service offerings. Students do not need to have any experience with Microsoft 365 before taking this course; however, a basic level of familiarity with computer technology and cloud computing is assumed. The course includes some hands-on exercises that involve working with multiple browser windows, so knowledge and experience with the Internet and browsers will also be helpful.
